Therapeutic Massage with Jeff Jones, Liz Parsons or Rhoda Galiguis.
|
Massage doesn’t just feel good. Therapeutic massage promotes health and wellness through the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body, helping your body move more freely, with less effort and more comfort.
Massage helps to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm and stress, leaving you more relaxed and alert. Research shows that it also...
- Reduces your heart rate
- Lowers blood pressure
- Relaxes muscles
- Improves range of motion
- Increases endorphins
- Increases blood circulation and lymph flow
What You Can Expect
Your massage therapist will do everything possible to ensure that your experience is positive and rewarding. You’ll be asked about your reasons for getting a massage and your current physical condition.
 |
Table Massage is performed on a comfortably padded massage table. You’ll be asked to undress to your level of comfort in private, and drape yourself with a sheet provided by the
therapist. You’ll lie down where you can expect a peaceful and comfortable experience.
|
|
Chair Massage is a 15 minute massage of the muscles of the head and neck, the back and shoulders and the arms and hands.
This is done while
you are fully dressed sitting in a specially designed chair that facilitates a soothing, relaxing and therapeutic massage.

Types of Massage:
Swedish is gentle and relaxing. It is used primarily for stress reduction to promote general relaxation and decreased muscle tension.
Sports focuses on muscle groups relevant to a particular sport or activity, enhancing the body’s recovery process and reducing the risk of injury.
Deep Tissue releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body using slow strokes and deep finger pressure on contracted areas of the body.
Neuromuscular Therapy (trigger point therapy) applies concentrated finger pressure to irritated muscles to break pain cycles of spasm and pain.
Myofascial Techniques address the body’s fascial system, which is the fibrous connecting tissue that holds the body together and gives it shape. The goal is to restore mobility in the fascia and soften connective tissue that has become rigid.
